Joining us again for a scheduled training swim was David Owen. David is building a very impressive portfolio of marathon swims and has a technique we all aspire to have. Smooth , powerful and super efficient. David has smashed 1 Ways galore and last year did a negative split on a 2 Way Windermere with us. No stranger to putting a shift in a 2 Way Coniston was a perfect warm up for his longer swims planned later this year.

David powered literally down the Lake and finished his 1 way in 2 hours and 7 minutes. He is a smiley head down, no messing kind of swimmer.

Another fast feeder, David grabs gets it down him and goes again, perfect prep for his Zurich and Channel Swims planned. You don't want to waste time. With a little breeze towards him on the return leg David completed his 2 Way Coniston in 4 hours and 37 minutes. Cant wait to track his swims later in the year. Good Luck David.
