Rick's 2nd Windermere ( this time in skins)

The second time for us meeting Rick Pulvertaft at Fell Foot Windermere. This time Rick was more focused and was just in his trunks. With a Channel Solo booked for 2023 Rick had really changed his mindset and approach. No longer was he packing a box of cocktail sausages, but had a feed plan of a channel swimmer.

The water temperature was still in the mid 18's so perfect for his longest swim in skins to date. Rick chose hourly feeds and was superfast at these. Wasting no time.

7 hours and 44 minutes later he strolled out at Ambleside to the  proud smiles of his wife and daughter. Well Done Rick .
