Team Muffand Puff take on Loch Awe

Meet Justin, Jo and Susie, better known as Team MuffandPuff who are not shy of a challenge or two and enjoy pushing themselves. They decided over a year ago to change their 2 way Windermere and opt for the longest stretch of water in the UK instead. Loch Awe and all its beauty.

On a mystical misty night 0130 the team nervously stood on the jetty at Torran Bay. The skies jet black with only the light from a Sturgeon moon for light... ooooh and a couple of glowsticks for effect. Using the word nervous, is probably a bit mild. They were excited, they were ready but they were absolutely kakking their kecks LOL. Reassurance from myself Coach K on land , as I waved them off in the capable hands of DQ.

For their first few hours the giddy excitement got them through the lack of visibility due to the low lying fog. With owl hoots and starry skies they embraced the magic.  As the stunning sun  rose and the mist cleared the team fully embraced their challenge. Lots of laughs and most of all plenty of swimming.  The Loch gave them everything and did not disappoint.
