Monday 9th August, we met Vivien Hanson on a glorious day . Super smiley and on a mission Vivien knew what she needed to do. There was nothing but smiles from this lady , well what would you expect from someone with unicorns on her cozzie. 6 hours and 18 minutes having started at Fell Foot, Vivien completed her Windermere Solo. We somehow think this is not the last we will see of Vivien and achieving her swim dreams.

Tuesday 10th August saw the Dynamic Duo back for a training swim. These lads brought Channel crew member Chris along with them to make sure he knew what the job entailed with Dave on board to teach him well. The lads took the day in their stride and completed their swim in 6 hours and 1 minute. One of their last longer swims before they sit and await their Channel tide windows opening.

Thursday 12th August saw new mum Jackie Hadley taking on her big challenge. Having taken time out and squeezing in training whilst juggling baby and hubby working away, this day was always going to be tough. Battling quad cramp for the last 2 hours, nothing was going to stop this super mum. 7 hours and 18 minutes she was met by her lovely family as she completed her swim. Fabulous work
