Irish Andrew's Windermere Romp

A sunny day filled with rainbows and a gentle breeze. After several years of deferring this swim due to Covid , it was finally Andrew's day. This swim followed nicely from his successful Jersey to France solo swim and he just wanted to enjoy it. Swim started at Waterhead due to the wind direction and was exactly as it was forecast, a little lumpy for the start but settled down nicely.

Andrew was one of the most charming swimmers, being from Ireland it's kind of expected but truly a pleasure to guide, happy chilled and said thank you after every feed.

5 hours and 12 minutes of a bit of a battering at times, Andrew finished at Fell Foot Jetty. Fantastic swim.
