Tuesday 5th July was the perfect day to knock out a Triple Coniston, a slight breeze for 2 out of 3 legs and a lovely clear day. Not shy of a fast effort Graham had been enticed into a Triple by Dave Quartermain who back in the day had knocked it out in 7 hours 44 minutes.
First leg was 2 hours 35 minutes, followed by a strong and consistent 2 hours 50 . Some nerve niggles on leg 3 but that's what painkillers are for. Graham completed in 8 hours and 19 minutes. With a big smile on his face. Perfect prep for his Windermere Double later in the season.
