Jared's 10 hours out of the salt!

Often we are contacted to simply support a long old stint in the water, in preparation for long distance swims. On this occasion we had the lovely Jared Mcgrath setting his time at 10 hours. Training for the English Channel, Jared just wanted a change from loops of the Harbour in Dover and Hythe and a change of scenary. To make sure he got that , we took Jared on a scenic tour of Windemere, Starting at Ferry Nab and working our way up to Fell Foot and back down in a circular pattern.

Jared was supported by his friend Seyive, who thought he was coming along for  boat trip, but we soon got him involved.

10 Hours flew by, with no drama at all. Well apart from Seyive's feed throwing skills LOL. With the water temperature at a comfortable 18 degrees Jared made it look super easy. Hour 4 was a bit of a darker hour for Jared admitting to thinking "what the hell am I doing", but that intrinsic determination and self talk conquered and BOOM 10 hours later we blew the horn and the job was done

Best of Luck Jared, we look forward to tracking you.
