Another fine day on the wonderful Windermere. Monday 10th April a cool mile for sure. 

The weather was beautiful and calm despite many of the swimmers leaving their homes driving through downpours and grey skies. 

We had Mum and daughter Nicola and Emily return knocking massive amounts of their previous mile times . A group of friends who were a fine example of doing things together as friends is really a great tonic. 

Val chose to come back and put some umphh into her mile time, starting confident and finishing even  more so.
