Renee's marathon swim.

It was fantastic Friday and we started at Fell Foot with a very nervous Renee who was about to embark on her longest swim ever. Renee loves the open water and had set herself the challenge last year, following a training plan in the final months to ensure a smooth build up. Renee instantly won the crew over with a tub of homemade pumpkin pie and cream. Lush.

Windermere played nice and apart from a swan that was taking over the guiding job towards the end , this swim was smooth. At each feed a little piece of Windermere history was delivered and off she went.

6 hours and 38 minutes Renee had earned her golden cap.  An awesome swim!
