Windermere Prep Swim

Simon met Anke at her finish at Fell Foot Jetty and off he went. Like a steam train. Smoother conditions with the wind in his favour Simon powered down Windemere.

5 hours and 21 minutes. BOOM.

Still smiling and met by Anke and hubby at the end.

These 2 swimmers were an absolute pleasure to guide. No drama. No fuss and knew exactly how to get the job done.

Monday 3rd July saw friends from Germany take on a Windermere Solo.  Anke timed this swim as preparation for her Loch Ness swim in several weeks time. Where as friend Simon hadn't really done much preparation so chose to keep his wetsuit on and swim the 2nd leg.

Anke started at Ambleside with a little bit of breeze at times , not too troublesome but great preparation for her Ness adventure. A super consistent swim with no drama and completed comfortably in 6 hours 58 minutes.
