Meet Jackie and Cath, 2 out of the 3 swimmers that are Team REDD. Unfortunately Zoe could not make the swim but was there in spirit. The ladies had gone to Jersey to swim to France in relay, but the weather was not great and they were unable to complete the swim. So we created the Buttermere Bonanza to ensure the girls training was not wasted and they fulfilled their challenge.

It was a stunning day and the weather was kind. They arrived with their husbands supporting and what a day they had. Whilst they relayed for 8 hours and 55 minutes, their husbands walked around Buttermere, fuelled everyone with sandwiches and were generally having  a  good time. The day could not have been more perfect with friends coming along to jump in for a swim or a paddle and give the ladies support as they spent their day swimming 2 lengths of Buttermere in relay.
