Windermere Glory

On Thursday 6th August this Hoyland Duo set off on their swim adventure together a 2 Way Windermere.
Erin opted to go first donning a wetsuit with Channel Swimmer Dad preferring skins. Another lovely day on the lake with no rain or problematic wind.

This duo powered down the Lake and hit Fell Foot in a strong time of 4 hours and 45 minutes. A super speedy time.

The duo continued to push hard, which was to be expected with both swimmers having a certain streak of competitiveness in them. The last couple of hours were the hardest as both tired but not that much when you consider they completed their 21 miles in a super dooper time of 9 hours and 38 minutes. Fantastic! Cheered in by family, just the best.
