A Confidence Boost for Sure !

Paul Worthington took on his Ullswater Solo with sheer determination and positivity. After not finishing Windermere Paul had looked at his feeding regime and taken on board the advice given. The original swim direction was changed as a head on wind would have made this swim more difficult than it needed to be. Not finishing this swim was not an Option. We were ultra determined to get him to the Jetty.

Starting at Glenridding Paul set off with a clear sky and a toasty temperature. The decision to change direction was indeed the correct one. With a strong tail wind Paul was powering down the Lake. No dramas, no doubts. Just over 5 hours later he was welcomed to the end with a full Steamer clapping and cheering him on. What a cracking swim and the perfect end for this determined, strong minded Swimmer. Well Done Paul.
